1. Introduction
Cintu is a skill-based, player-versus-player (PvP) card game (or player vs. bot) designed for the digital era. It combines strategic depth with complete transparency, using a standard 52-card deck where all cards are visible. The game reimagines traditional card gaming as a public battleground of wits and ambition.
The objective is to win 5 points by scoring closest to 21 in each round without exceeding it, or by securing an instant victory via the Cintu Card prediction mechanic.
2. Game Mechanics
2.1 Overview
Cintu uses a standard 52-card deck, dealt face-up for full visibility. Matches are PvP or against the bot (Cintupher). Games end when one player reaches 5 points or via instant win conditions.
2.2 Rules
Card Values:
- Number cards (2-10): Face value.
- Face cards (J, Q, K): 10 points.
- Aces (Cintu Cards): Automatically assigned the highest possible value (1, 6, 9, or 11) without busting.
Dealing Process: Players alternate who receives the first card each round for fairness. Both players receive their initial two cards before any decisions.
Gameplay Sequence: Players simultaneously decide whether to "Draw" or "Stay," without knowing the opponent's choice. Once both decide, their choices are revealed and played out accordingly.
- If both draw, the first-card player draws first, then they decide again simultaneously for the next action.
3. Scoring
At the end of each round:
- The player closest to 21 without busting wins the round and earns 1 point.
- If both players bust, the player with the lower score wins the round.
- If both players have the same score, no points are awarded (tie).
4. Cintu Card (Ace) Mechanic
The Cintu Card refers to any Ace in the deck. The signature Cintu mechanic is the high-risk suit prediction: a player may choose to predict the suit of the next card to be drawn from the deck. With full deck visibility throughout the game, skilled players can track remaining suits to make an informed decision. A correct prediction grants an instant win of the entire game; an incorrect prediction results in an instant loss. This adds thrilling strategic depth and rewards calculated risk-taking.
5. Winning the Game
The first player to reach 5 points wins the match. Alternatively, a correct Cintu Card prediction ends the game immediately in favor of the predictor.
6. Fair Play
All players are expected to play fairly. Cheating, exploiting bugs, using automated tools, or any form of manipulation is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
